Hello,
My name is Brian Abraham, I am from Oklahoma State University Chi Alpha. A campus ministry that I have had the blessing of seeing grow from just a handful of people in a small chapel on campus to a family of around 90 people at our large group meetings. Back in 2011 while I was a student at OSU we had just one men’s Bible study and one women’s Bible study, this past spring semester we have had five each, and we are expecting more than 20 in Fall of 2018. God is moving on our campus, and it is amazing.
This coming year we are also expecting six new interns at Chi Alpha from all over Oklahoma and Texas, which is exciting because I am one of them! During this internship I will get to learn from multiple men and women of God who have been in ministry. I will also get to learn more of the in’s and out’s of how to run a campus ministry, which is great because that is what I want to do in the long run. In this internship I will be taking multiple classes and tests, help with camps, and go to conferences all while doing what I have been doing as a student leader. Namely running a Bible study/Connect group, helping with our outreaches, and serving our community and campus however I can.
That being said I can’t do all that God has called me to do without your help. I have sent this letter to humbly request your support, both in prayer and financially. Since high school I have worked and provided for the little bit of ministry I have done at OSU and the missions trips I have had have been funded by amazing people like yourself. Now my life is fully committed to missions both here in my Judea and Samaria, and someday to the ends of the world.
I know my God will provide, but being His body I know that we play a role in that. What I ask of you is to pray and ask God what He wants you to do. If you feel He is asking you to pray and give financially, PRAISE THE LORD. The tab labeled 'How Can I Help' is set up for this reason. In the meantime I would love to catch up and maybe get some coffee.
Thank you for your consideration and prayer,
Brian J Abraham
